Minimum Qualifications:
a) The candidate must have Passed with 55% marks in PG examination in the concerned
subject. (For SC/ST/OBC (Non creamy layer)/Divyang candidates there will be
relaxation of 5% marks)
Paper – I (General Aptitude) {60 Marks}
This paper will be same and mandatory for all the candidates and will contain four sections.
Section – A : Logical Reasoning and Analytical Ability (15 Marks)
Section – B : General Mental Ability (15 Marks)
Section – C : Comprehension Ability and Situation Analysis (15 Marks)
Section – D : Quantitative Aptitude (15 Marks)
Paper – II (60 Marks)
Paper – II will be subject specific and will have the questions designed to assess the knowledge of the candidate in the concerned subject (According to the syllabus for UGC-NET).
1. There will be no negative marking in Himachal Pradesh Kendriya Vishwavidyalaya Shodh Patrata Pariksha.
2. The candidate will have to select one right answer and mark on the OMR sheet. But the
answer will be cancelled in case more than one answer is marked on OMR sheet.
3. Every right answer will be given one mark.
4. The duration of the examination will be of two hours.
5. Himachal Pradesh Kendriya Vishwavidyalaya Shodh Patrata Pariksha will be conducted

1. Application for Himachal Pradesh Kendriya Vishwavidyalaya Shodh Patrata Parikshais to be submitted through On-line mode only. The candidates can apply by clicking the link given on University website (www.cuhimachal.ac.in). The Application fee will be paid in accordance with the instructions given on the university website.
2. The application fee for Himachal Pradesh Kendriya Vishwavidyalaya Shodh Patrata Pariksha will be as follows:
a) General category/EWS/OBC (Creamy) : Rs 500/-
b) OBC category (Non Creamy) : Rs 400/-
c) SC/ST/Divyang : Rs 200/-
